Youth Peace Fest enlightened thousands of youths in Lucknow, who took up the cause of Peace and had a massive Walkathon. “A Walk for Peace” displaying many insightful quotes on Peace by the world renowned personalities like Mahatama Gandhi, Mother Teresa and Albert Einstein, The Walk commenced at 10:30 am from Lucknow University’s Gate no. 1 and concluded at De-Global Park in an hour. This dignified rally of exuberant youths was flagged off by ex- IPS Uma Nath Singh, who infused a wave of zeal in these blooming flowers who were spreading the fragrance of Peace all around. The chief guest, Shri Kamleshwar Nath, retired Judge of Allahabad High Court commended the efforts and inspired these young minds to reach higher domains of success. De-Global Park hotel remained the centre of attraction for next few hours where the youth, who belonged to various schools and colleges of the city like Mahatma Buddha Inter College, Navyug Girls Inter College, Navyug Girls Degree College, Rajkiya Inter College, Ranjkiya Kanya Inter College and Lucknow University pledged together to develop the culture of Peace. It was followed by heart touching music and profound video presentation which brought a sense of clarity, a vision to be steadfast. The whole programme was impeccable in imparting the meaningful message of Peace something required on a consistent basis making it an integral part of our daily routine.
