Youth Peace Fest conducted an event ‘Talk for Peace’ and ‘Signature Campaign for Peace’ in IFEEL Institute, Lonavala on 20th and 21st December, 2014. This event was conducted under an Inter College Competition ‘Aashaayein 2014’ in which around 2500 students from 40 colleges of Mumbai and Pune participated. This opportunity gave a golden chance to the students to express their thoughts and views on Peace and they did share with all the zeal, interest and enthusiasm. Around 22 colleges participated on the very first day.
After sharing their views on Peace they participated in Signature Campaign in which they signed with some quotes on Peace. They were full of joy while participating in this campaign in such a way that YPF team gave each of them White Rose for appreciation and as a symbol of Peace.
At night a cultural programme was organized in which dance, music and fashion show was conducted for them by IFEEL.
The event was so successful that Management staff and other college lecturers patted the back of the YPF team members and said, “Hey guys, you people are doing such an amazing job that we would also like to have such an event in our colleges too.” And the students standing there in huge numbers said in one voice- “Yes, Peace is possible.”
